William Monroe Trotter marries Geraldine Pindell.
June 27, 1899
Using an inheritance from Trotter’s father, the couple moves to a home at 97 Sawyer Avenue on Jones Hill. From the home, according to Trotter, he could see “over all the country as far as the Blue Hill and from my bedroom window over all that lay down to the red buildings in Deer Island.” Trotter moves to Roxbury in 1909.
